Celebrating two years of partnership with Women in Football

December 2025

Women gather around TV displaying Women In Football and Sodexo Live!

As we reach the two-year milestone in our partnership with Women in Football, it is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our shared achievements and the positive impact we have made together. Our collaboration is built on a commitment to championing gender equity, nurturing talent and building a more inclusive football community.

The first two years at a glance

December 2023 saw us kick off the partnership with a memorable event at the Scotland v England match at Hampden Park, bringing together members of Women in Football and Sodexo Live! in the Super Box to commemorate our collaboration.

Since then, Sodexo Live! has supported Women in Football members through a range of events, including the first member gathering in Scotland at Hampden Park and a World Cup watch party at Newcastle United FC. We have also hosted networking events at Nottingham Forest and Hampden Park, creating spaces for over 200 members and partners to connect and build relationships.

More than 140 Sodexo Live! colleagues have participated in bespoke Women in Football workshops and leadership courses, developing new skills and building confidence for their career journeys. Our teams have also benefited from inspiring events such as the annual Be Inspired Conference at Wembley Stadium, which provides opportunities to meet others across the industry, hear from leading speakers and expand professional networks.

Our impact

Over the past two years, our partnership has directly engaged more than 140 Sodexo Live! colleagues and over 217 Women in Football members and partners. These opportunities have supported professional development, strengthened our community, and helped drive positive change across the football industry.

“WIF believes that a more inclusive workforce is key to an organisation’s success. Yet our recently published annual industry workforce survey shows there is still much to be done. We need women to be supported, valued, visible and recognised. These are not questions of cost. It is a question of culture.
Sodexo Live! fully understand that, and we are very proud to be their partner of choice. I would wholeheartedly like to thank Nicci Clarke and the team for their trust in us and look forward to continuing our journey in 2026, supporting both their team and our wider membership.
Together, we will endeavour to further improve the environment for women in the industry, champion and celebrate success, increase diversity, and ensure the game becomes inclusive for every woman, with men being an active part of the conversation, demonstrating true allyship in action.”

“Partnering with Women in Football has become a catalyst for the way we develop our people at Sodexo Live! UK&I
Over the last two years, colleagues have gained skills, confidence and connections and our venues have benefited from more inclusive teams. As we enter year three, we’ll deepen this work: scaling access to leadership opportunities, reverse mentoring and ensuring the industry reflects the communities it serves. That’s how we create experiences that are exceptional and equitable.”

Marketing & Culinary Director, Sodexo Live! UK&I

Looking ahead

As we head into our third year of partnership, we are excited to continue building on this momentum. Together we will create more opportunities, support more people and champion diversity and inclusion throughout the industry.
